About the class
Class of 2011 – “FUNdraising”
Did you know that by your child’s senior year we need to have more than $50,000.00 for a nice prom and to help with costs for Project Grad?
-
Did you know that your child’s class currently has less than $10,000.00 in its account to pay for prom?
-
The class buyout is what the class voted on instead of participating in fundraisers each year.
-
In order to raise money for senior year activities, the students voted to donate $40.00 each year starting their sophomore year.
-
Fundraising is not totally out of the question. We understand that some families may opt out of the buyout or not be able to participate. The option to raise money for the class will be made available to ALL students. There is still money to be made by participating in fundraising. The Class of 2011 still plans to hold carwashes, pancake breakfasts, sell Butter Braid, etc.
Dates:
-
The buyout will end on June 5th for the Sophomore class year.
-
The Junior Year buyout will begin on the first day of school for the 2009-2010 school year..
-
The Senior Year buyout will begin on the first day of school for the 2010-2011 school year.
Payment:
-
Payment will only be accepted in the form of cash.
-
Checks will NOT be accepted
-

-

-
Mrs. Roneka Lee – Class of 2011 Administrator

Goals:
-
Accurate records will be kept by the class sponsors/administrator
-
It is our GOAL that students who participate in the buyout and raise the most money via fundraisers will receive the greatest incentives
-
Sample incentives MAY include: lower/free prom tickets and increased opportunity at project grad.
